Whats wrong with my MSN?

oki so, idk wats wrong with it.. it always happens, when i add someone on msn,(ither i add them or they add me and i accecpt) it always crashes... it shows a msg tht says the following
"windows live communications platform has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

SEND ERROR REPORT DONT SEND​

it pops up various times then an MSN alert pops tht says to retry or cancel."

It did this before when i tried to add a friend, id add the person then it would crash, restart and go to the point before adding the person, this time i tried to add someone and it wont even start up anymore. whats wrong with it?

 

Have you tried downloading a newer version of MSN?

well im wrking on a older pc, and XP and it cant run teh newer versions of it

 

Hmm, I've had the same problem before.
Try Meebo, it is a website that allows you to sign
into your msn and chat without downloading the client.

This is what i had to do until i got a new computer.
