They are useless aye. I don't see how they have the right to limit your account because the "receiver" was risky. The receiver should have nothing at all to do with your account. In most cases I believe PayPal just wants to hold your money because they make 'Interest' (They make lots of money for having your money in PayPal)

I bet there is millions of dollars stuck in limited accounts.

Yea but I don't understand how my account can be limited, it's fucking verified. Plus they won't tell me how long this temporary limitation is.

I am doing studies into PayPals service as I am hoping to help other sythe members. I have read that PayPal has even, In some circumstances. Charged credit card companies because PayPal has taken all of the money out of your account.

They seem to limit any accounts they can, even if there is barely any reason, e.g even if you just send $3 to buy a little item.

Yes you can; they cannot simply take your money. You can request a check or withdraw it to your bank I believe.

It says in the terms & conditions, if you have multiple accounts, and send cash from one to another, they'll limit your account. You can easily fix this by contacting them (by phone, for better response).

What skele said was right. If they see increased traffic coming in and out of your account and you are not verified they may think you are committing some sort of organized fraud. People who commit fraud do not want to give out their personal information obviously, which results in the PayPal account staying unverified for their own security reasons. At least one attempt to commit some sort of fraud on PayPal occurs every day, all they are doing is simply attempting to stop such actions. Simply get a bank account and verify it. Not that hard in my own opinion.

If the account was verified and limited, just simply contact them by phone and it can be resolved. There must have been some sort of action that occurred to make it look like to them that it needed to be limited. Not always fraud, may be a list of other things. What I see a lot of is a mass-limitation to under 18 years of age users. That's a different story. If your verified, and they see the bank account is under a parent or guardians name AND you have a lot of money coming in as gifts from a lot of people around the world, yeah I'm sure they'll think it's some hacking or phishing scam when it's really not.
