Paypal Limitation.

Alright, well my Paypal basically got locked down. I think it was because someone didn't claim and cancel properly, and now I can't make purchases, and I can't receive money either. I had too much money on that Paypal account to just make a new one and move on. I really can't 'complete' the steps it says to remove the limitations. Any idea how long this will last, or how I can remove this limitation? Or do you have any way I can move the money from this paypal account to a new one? I'm in abit of a pickle here.

You have to unlimit it, to be able to send/use your funds. However, i believe after 180 days of limitation, you are able to withdraw the funds, to a bank account.

 

SIX MONTHS??! Jesus. I'm guessing my paypal is unusable now.. great

 

Indeed, i THINK you can do that, but i'm not 100% sure. To use now, you'll need to unlimit your Paypal by following the neccessary steps.

 

Problem is, for my paypal name I put "John Smith" so I can't match it up with my social security number, and I can't link it to a bank account for the same reason.

You can create a canadian account and have no limitations

You're stuck. Just like me, I still have $420 on a limited account after 3 years. Nothing i can do either, i provided fake info to make the account.

 

My Paypal just got unlimited, under many of the sections i put down random stuff, apart from the credit card infomation etc, and it had £180 on it. Might aswel, give it a shot lol.
