Picture adding

Hey there,

Im currently BRAND NEW to HTML, I started today o.o
I read SUF's awesome guide, and i can make tables, pictures, letter color change, size change, hovering over link makes it bigger, and tons of epic stuff.

But what I want to do is add a picture to my code, Ive tried what the guides say, but It simply wont work, This is what I do

<img src="Example.jpeg" alt ="Image cannot be displayed" />

It probably is a VERY stupid mistake, but please forgive me, Im completly, Dumb.

Edit: Sorry for the trouble, I fixed it, the picture needed to be in the same folder, Mod lock this please =]

 

I can't see anything wrong with the code. Check the path to the image.

btw, try not to use short tags ( />) if your not using xhtml. just messes shit up

 

He shouldn't not be using xhtml. And self closing tags are standard, using anything else will result in more errors than the correct method.

Make sure the picture is in the same folder as the .html file
