Hi.

I've recently seen some names being deleted that have been for sale on here. None of my names have ever been deleted until today. Three of my names have been deleted, they weren't the best names but they still got deleted. I've registered those three names around 3 weeks ago, my other names haven't been touched. My newer names have been on blank username accounts, accounts that have been forced name changed so I could avoid the email registration.

I'm pretty sure that there are some people watching Name Sales and reporting the names to Jagex in some way. I think the main reason has been this thread.

Agree. I think one of the funny things is that he has a 2 letter name himself while he is complaining about name hoarders.

 

I read most of them and scrolled through a few pages kids were raging about this shit haha

I used to have my full list posted on here. When it was posted, I literally lost around 8-10 names no exaggeration. Two of which were names that I already sold and had to give 140M refund on because it was my responsibility that I still had sold names posted. Fuckin' sucks man. That's why my list is no longer publicized.

And as for deleting hoarded names, without valid proof of a visual thread they shouldn't be allowed to pose a ban (Therefore if you're only private messaging you're lists then name selling should still be fairly secure). When the two sold names were removed the owners weren't provided with any reasoning nor were the owners able to appeal or anything, just poof and gone.

In some cases. I think it depends on how long you've owned the name for. If you've had it for months and a thread gets found which deems it as [SOLD]. Jagex technically can take action against you and remove your name as you are a potential risk of RWT. If you get the name removed after having it for a while it'l get put into the same category where banned names go, and it wont be "freed" until a random time.

P.S This thread is starting to seem like it's starting to put ideas into some peoples heads. >_<

 

Personally I think this lp guy is someone who is jealous of some of the names people own. I think he's hoping that names will get released so he can add them to his own collection.

 

No wonder some people on here have been selling through msn and skype nowadays, they are not even posting on the threads anymore

If Jagex is really targeting hoarders I think we should create a thread like Ritchy's request a name- but it lists all names that have been deleted and have been taken already- wouldn't cause any harm if you only post when they have been taken.

Would help see if this is a big deal or not

Lmao Jagex wont free up the rare names. They never do like they only did that like once. but since almost all the names are active or have been logged in once since 2007. they wont do it. the inactive names they wanna delete are like Mager001 or stupid shit made like in 2003-04

 

BuyingRSGold his name Sniper, Aim, Maple and some others got deleted. Aswell as some others I've seen; Check, Re, Stair.. Those are rare.

 

You're right in a way however extremely rare names were released early last year as some of my friends own them and will not sell due to the bills they are in value.

Those most likely display names. Like legit actual accounts with login name as a rare name aren't deleted. I got a hold of the name "o_o" and it was last logged in in 2004. Not deleted. jagex is prolly more game towards cleaning display names. you kno the accounts that say "Last Known As"

EDIT: That's why "B" got lost due to the owner left it as "Last Known As" and Jagex deleted it off him.
