Paypal Restrictions/Limits

Hey, today I received this message from paypal -

I'm not 18 (I'm 17, I have a bank account), and I'm 98% sure they need to confirm my age. What can I do? Do I confirm my age or do I allow my account to be restricted? What does that do? Any tips on how to handle this? Thanks.

 

Go to the resolution center and provide any information they requested.

Having a limited account isn't fun.

 

Technically they won't do much, they won't like steal your money obviously, it's just when they find out that you are < 18 y/o they block your account and it takes them a shit load of time and for you a lot of effort to get your money back (I've been there not fun).

Imo send your money to a new paypal account and than call PayPal if you can still keep your current account. If not request a block on that account and use your new PayPal account till your 18 y/o and when you become again make a new verified PayPal to avoid future issues.

With this, PayPal goes with name black listing. I'm banned from PayPal from my previous Runescape private server, and everytime I create one under my name I get limited.

 

I had this issue when I was 17 also. I wanted to donate to an RSPS using Paypal so I made one. I gave them all of my information but they restricted the account regardless, because I was under 18. I had to deal with the restriction for 5 months. Once I turned 18 I requested the restriction be removed and it was within a week.

 

Send them the information they are asking for.

 

Even if he does, he will be limited.

There's nothing you can really do, you'll have to wait till you're 18.
