    Problem with youtube videos/Antivirus question

    Okay so when I go to simply search a youtube video, and then click it.

    The video screen stays black, but the audio keeps going?
    It doesn't matter what video this always happens.

    I can only watch videos by going to the person's channel and watching it which is annoying.

    Antivirus;

    I use Microsoft Security essentials, is that good enough to keep me protected. It is free from microsoft itself. My AVG/Mcafee trials ran out so I got this which is free for life.

    Is there anything additional i should download for protection? I heard about malwarebytes?

    Malwarebytes is definitely one of your best free Anti-Virus programs. Dont use crap made my microsoft, their Anit-virus's are generally bad.

    If you dont want to use Malwarebytes, use Avast! Its also free, and its what i myself use.

    As for the video problem, i get it sometimes. Try reloading the page and clearing your cookies.

    This use to happen to me quite often.
    However it was not consistent between videos.

    Is your problem consistent with every video?
    Have your computer, flash drives, java, windows updates? My fix to the problem was doing probably 1GB worth of updates.

    MSE is a horrible AV, I do suggest as Meeder said you DL Malwarebytes, and run it once a week or 2.
