I doubt I would fall for it. I usually think things through, and I would quickly calculate the gain/loss and realize it's a scam!

I think many other people would, especially people who are attracted to free things. That's the basic idea behind "buy one get one free"-- jack up the price and make another one free. Especially those who have impulse purchasing tendencies.

 

I wouldn't b the least bit surprised to see 35% of people not even notice.
