Hi,
I'm looking for information on paypal disputes. I had a dispute for 25$ over a person who failed to give me the rsgp. So i called paypal and filed a dispute claiming that i did not receive the "product" as directed and promised. So 10 days later still had a pending dispute, so i called again and asked what the dilemma was and they said it will be closed because the "seller" said it was a virtual trade and paypal does not support virtual trades. I retaliated and said that it was an item upgrade for a gaming system. They said again they don't support gaming sales.
So long story short i lost 25$ then come to find out, someone that i sold gold to over 2 weeks ago filed a dispute and just a couple days ago won the case for $19.78. I provided the information that it was a virtual trade "runescape" ( And i DID GIVE HIM THE GOLD FIRST ) and paypal simply said that i did not provide enough information to win the case?!
How are people paying via paypal and still winning the case, and then honest buyers and sellers are getting ripped off. What is being done or said to paypal to win the cases?? Can anyone help me with some information because i see chargebacks all the time on here with the "scammer buyer" winning the case and getting both the gold and his money back. Thanks
