Runescape Private Server (Account Sales Subsection)

I haven't ever seen any threads nor is this listed in the "do not suggest" sticky. It isn't really a major ground news-breaking suggestion nor a difficult task to complete.

Basically, the Runescape private server section is one whole "section" and since big gold sellers are actually getting into the market I think it would be beneficial to split the Private server section with "Gold Sales" and "Account Sales".

See, It get's a bit annoying when there's literally a clusterfuck of mixed threads, when it could be prevented extremely quickly.

Literally;
>"Main runescape" has sections split for accounts
>"League of legends" has a sub section for accounts
>"World of Warcraft" has a subsection for accounts
>"Other MMOS" have a subsection for accounts

So why can't the private server have a subsection to make it a bit more organized, eye appealing and easier to moderate?



Also, I don't know if anyone suggested this before as I couldn't find any threads related to the topic.

 

I support, this helps the forum become more organized.

 

I'd like to block guests from viewing that forum as well

 

in order for rsps staff not to spy on who is selling accounts i assume.

If you blank out the unimportant stats thats pretty easily negated is it not? They'll always be able to make accounts as much as we try to stop em.

My primary idea was to separate them to make it look more organized like the other subsection, but i would understand why firez asked to make it hidden only for registered users.

It wouldn't stop staff from searching accounts, but it would make their time much more difficult since they would need to register, and if they're vading they either have to hop to proxies or a vpn to be able to register etc etc

What about opinions on simply spitting them into an account section and a gp section ;p?

SWTOR has its own section who the fuck plays swtor? :O.

 

i know really, i never understood why rsps section never got the subsection especially since it's almost as popular if not even more than the other sections which have it.



Also, what and/or howmuch supports does one need to make this actually become approved?

 

This information was pulled from the first three pages of the RSPS market.

9/60 threads were account selling related.

Do you still think it deserves it's own sub section?

 

I would support this, if, there was enough threads to make it worthwhile.

I think this proves that there might be, as the first 3 pages are all posts made within 1 day.

 

Support ! Will be organized and will be easy to find for that what you're searching.
But if you think again there should be 3 subsections :
Gold Selling
Account Selling
Other
Because some people sell other stuff.

 

I know people sell items, but it could be counted with gp selling as in the end that's what they're doing

 

Definitely no support. People hardly ever (if ever) sell anything but gold or accounts, also items are just another form of currency (gp).

 

How am I being negative? I didn't state/show my position on this. I was asking you if you think the section is deserving based on those stats.

Pointing out the fact that there has only been 6 threads in 1 day, and in 3 pages doesn't mean it "doesn't deserve" a section.

Yes it is negative remark as you're trying to find a reason why it doesn't deserve it's own section.

Also, refrain from referring to "it only has 6 threads in the past 3 pages" , because once again if you actually legitimately counted the number of threads in the last 40 pages it counts up to 154. if you average it out it's 3.85 threads/page and x that by the 871 pages there has been in the past 2 years it averages out to 3,353 account sales threads.

Tell me again why it shouldn't have it's own sub section.

Ye 19.25% of all the threads are account sales thread.

Tell me why in collaboration with my estimate enough it isn't enough for it's own sub section.

 

This doesn't affect me, so I could care less if a sub section is made for this.

Account sales are 19% of all sales in the rsps market. It's below 1/4th. To me that doesn't warrant a new section.

 

To me, it does. Nine threads in one day is (in my opinion) ,warranting a new section. There are many sections out there that only get one or two posts a week, which would make this extremely active in comparison.
