You cant accept gold through a GE method because there is no guarantee that you will be the receiver. The seller gets money from the highest bidder and not the one he/she wants. So you cant do it through GE, at least not 100% safely.

 

And who is to say thats how I was going to do it. There are plenty other ways through grand exchange.
