RuneScape to have 5-10k players in near future...

Okay first off let me tell you this my acc got banned because my douchebag father didn't pay for the members after i got it... and i ended up with negative credit...but now i am glad

Because it would've been a waste of money


With these recent updates...

-Duel Changes(now its free to?)
-Pk Changes
-Unbalanced trades?(not official yet but after new years official)

and this is soemthign jagex says

"A solution was needed as soon as possible, so we had to come up with the one thing that would successfully stop real-world traders – stopping unbalanced trade. It will be tough for law-abiding players, but it will also be tough for us, as we will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."

They say for the good of the game, but is it?

I say its ruining the game, and i bet alot will agree.Because all of these updates are making the game more pointless than it already is. I mean what is there to do in runescape that is "FUN" anymore? Honestly...

The thing is you'll never stop real world traders! as long as they can do it they will!

Eventually they will stop them when everyone with a fucking brain figures out.

"Hey why the fuck am i still playing this game?"

Then everyone stops playing all together and then even the few who still paly wont real world trade becasue there is absolutley no point to do it unless your selling a account of some sort and u want your money.

I could go on more but i tihnk i got my point across loud and clear....(not really loud..but give me a break im typing..)


You may agree may not but all i have to say Jagex has ruined RuneScape..they might have gone just a little to far..

You aren't the first person to think about this. In fact, all the people who are going to quit from updates are probably already gone, and they still have 500k+ members.

 

im talking about users online at a time its go to drop dramatically very soon just wait for it

 

there could be like 100k people that play regularly and there will be 5-10k on at a time

I seriously doubt it, I've yet to see it drop below 100k since like 2003 when i started playing.

this game is getting bad now
but it maybe will be good updates that makes the game better
i know its getting boring playing rs
and doing the classic scamms and those things but
if all of you are talking bad about rs something bad about it will happen
and if runescape dies
sythe dies 2 , there are plenty users here that doesn't play rs anymore
personally i did
i gave out my 102 with 99cooking to a boy and i made him happy
but i don't say anything and i don't complain
people like you are the people who ruins the game

This has been said so many times now. On every forum about runescape there are about 100 posts saying this exact thing, but yes its completely ruined but people will continue to play it. I don't see too many people leaving it fo quite a while.

No, people can't quit, they are just too addicted to RS and even if some people quit, most of them will start playing RS again.

 

Members will go, but Jagex are clever, they are releasing the new Skill in amongst all of this, so new members will join and there should be that surge of members, it is obvious that Jagex have carefully planned this update and if everyone was going to go, then there would have been no incentive for them changing the game.

They are in it for the profits and money after all and these Bots etc really are stopping there economy.
