Video lag

I want to begin making Runescape pking videos, but I can't due to the amount of lag and blur. Above is an example of a video I've made, and you can see how horrible the quality is. I have 512MB of RAM.

Any help? I've already done the simple things, like put my acceleration to none. I vid with Hypercam II and use Windows Movie Maker to edit.

 

I suggest using frap, its much more professional, i have no idea why you are lagging tho, are you like that ingame? check setting for the recording program as well.

 

It's not that severe in-game. Slight lag, but nothing I can't deal with. I think it might possibly the Hypercam settings or how I save the video. I can't be sure though. My RAM isn't that high, but people with lower still find a way to make a video that's less laggy.

 

I think it may be something to do with RAM, as I used to get this exact problem with I had 512MB RAM.

2.5GB RAM now, no video recording lag, so you may want to consider upgrading.

was made by my friend irl. He was the original owner. Anyways, he has less RAM, and he still seems to produce a video that is better then mine. The only advice he had for me was the acceleration, and I've heard that way too many times .
