Empty Forum

I have an empty IPB forum and nothing to do with it. I was using it as the Sythe citadel clan forum but that project fell through. If anyone here has any idea what to do with it, post here. (no, i have no interest in making a failed copy of Sythe).

 

Kickstart your own citadel clan that doesn't rely on sythe users to fill your ranks. Other than that, forums are worthless now-a-days since there are no longer any unique forum ideas or uses. You could also start a dicing host site like nyce dyce or something? I dont know how that works though.

 

A porn forum? Get a bunch of people to advertise on it and charge people. Not me though, of course.

 

Technology forum

 

A forum for what you like, some kind of sport for example.
Or just get all you friends to chat here.

 

Seems a good idea. I love gadgets/technology

 

Even though there are alot of community forums I would try to make one along adding something that other forums stand out.
When I had my own IPB forum it was gaming/community and forum services based and it did get alot of members.

 

I use a forum as a CMS. Though you should use your forum to promote something that interests you.

 

Just get rid of it if you can't immediately think of anything.
These answers shouldn't matter. These are what WE would all do, you need to think of something that interests you. If it interests me, I'd love to sign up and help out with things. Keep me updated ^^.

 

They're plenty of things im interested in, but I have no interest in starting a forum on a topic where there is already an active community. Just was wondering if anyone had/has any unique ideas.

 

As they've said, there really aren't any good new ideas. There are SOO many forums out there that you won't be able to create something completely new.
I've had ideas, but nothing that wasn't out there a bunch of times already.
