Epic 1337 Range Tank Guide!

Welcome to my epic leet tank guide! I hope you enjoy this and use it.

Picking a good name. I recommend choosing something that has 'Range', 'Defence' or something similar. Example: Dark_B0w_Gf

Quests: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO Animal Magenetism ONCE YOU ARE P2P.

Animal Magnetism: I strongly recommend this quest. It give you Ava's Attracter. It picks up arrows and other range items for you.

Desert Treasure: Do this quest for Ice burst/blitz/barrage. I recommend this quest to be sucessful at pking.

Lunar Diplomacy: [Optional] Do this if you want vengeance for KOs.

Dwarf Cannon: [Optional] This quest is if you want to use a cannon for range training.

King's Ransom: This quest is for chivlary/piety.

Training Defence.


It's simple to train defence on a tank. When your tank is uder 50 combat, i suggest getting attack and strength for training defence. I recommend 70 attack and 75+ strength if you're around 90 range. If you're 99 and you want defence, I'd say get 85ish strength.
If you're 60-75 range get either around 20 attack 50 strength, 30 attack 45 strength or 40 attack 40 strength. Whatever you want. Use the best scim or whip and train def. I recommend training defence at rock crabs. NEVER TRAIN DEFENCE W/ RANGE.



1-10 Attack, Strength, Defence, and Range.

I recommend getting Attack, Strength, Defence and range to 5 at chicken in lumbridge. Next get 5-10 at cows. If you want some gp, bank the hides.


10-15 Attack, Strength, Defence, and Range.

You have two options now. Either train at men in edgeville and bank the bones or kill monks. I recommend men.
If you kill men bank the bones for 3k a inventory. Make some gps.


15+ Attack, Strength, and Defence.

I recommend training here from now on for melee. If you want, at 70 defence go to spiders in stronghold. I'm not sure how much xp an hour you will get there but give it a try.
Also, I recommend getting 15-60 range at rock crabs using either bronze knives or bone bolts. Both are fast but bone bolts are cheaper.


60-70 Range.


For the fastest way to 70 range, you need Plauge City and Biohazard done. If you have them done, grab some knives and head to King Lathas's Training Camp! Caged Ogres FtW.
Teh caged ogres are amazingly fast range experience from 60-70.


Full Void Range.

I recommend you getting full void range at around 60-80 range. Use a Dorgshuun c'bow as you will make more than the bolts cost.
I would get a trusted pcer from sythe to do it. You can prob get it done for $1.5m RSGP - $3m RSGP for $10.00 - $20.00 USD.

and yet.. Getting like 85str? 70attack is ruining the tank, you're making the ''tank'' a melee

 

thanks flubber. And argo, its like 1/4 done. Also, 70 pray, 99 range 80 def and 30 attk 45 str is 0-4 cb lvls different then with 70 attk 85 str, plus you can use DDS and whip. enuff said.

yeah, i don't think a level 3 would make it to tzhaar for the dragonstone method

depends. You can make money various ways.

 

cant say im a fan of thats, a good well built tank is 60 60 75+

Hmm, nos creenshots etc but the text is pretty good, this guid would be more effective if there would be any pictures and such. 6/10.

 

Well its decent, but no pics yet so idk. Also, 85+ str DOES ruin the tank... As far as i can remember, 75 atk with 70 str (or the other way around) doesnt give combat levels to a maxed tank (not totally sure). Also, i wonder why get chivalry/piety? you cant have piety and eagle eye on at same time and obviously eagle eye + steel skin is way better for a tank than piety.

 

Next time, write everything in notepad/word and post it here when you're finished.

the guild is alright pics would be nice and more detail in the training would also be helpful.
