    Bank Transfer chargebacks?

I was wondering, what is the following scenario happened:

    • Person A uses his credit card to add a balance to his account
    • Person A then decides that he wants his money back
    • Is this possible for person A to do?

    Thankyou.

Just in general. What I mean is, say for example you added $100 to an account via your bank, then once you had used the $100 on your account, can you go to the bank and say I didn't want to make that transaction? Thankyou for the reply too :)

There is no such thing as a bank transfer "chargeback". Chargebacks are related to credit cards. If someone makes a bank transfer payment chances are they cannot get it back even if they tried to dispute it. But it really depends on the bank. For example a few Canadians got screwed when using RBC. And earlier this year someone disputed me using interac which ultimately led to me having to close my old bank account and opening up a new one. What bank to be more specific?

Thankyou for the reply :) And no bank specifically, just a range of banks. So once you have made a payment onto an account, you can't go to your bank and say "I want my money back"? Also, sorry to hear that you had to change your bank account.

It depends on the bank. Recently Dorian has lost money because the buyer who paid through RBC bank transfer (a Canadian bank) was able to get his money back. So it really depends on the bank.
