Alright, im getting ready to buy a car and don't know which one to choose.. I have to choices. I kinda want a project type car but that runs...lol

    My choices are.....

1991 Toyota Celica GT Needs new motors because there is a whole in the block of it. Automatic Tranny, newer brake lines but hasn't been driven in 6 months.

    or

1994 Ford Probe HIGH MILES (220,100), speakers don't work, the prop for the headlights dosen't work (runs $50) New tires..

which one or neither also post why????

Go with the 1994 Ford, they are built strong.

Also I am sure you were going to buy some new speakers anyway...
And the headlights can be fixed easy, but I hate workingon cars. If you want a project then put in the engine yourself on the Toyota...

If your trying to get a good deal, I would say somewhere between 700 - 900USD. But I don't know much about cars... So go with about $700 dollars since it is high in miles and has no headlights.

In my opinion, it would be better to save up a little more money and try to get a car that would last you longer.

The Toyota doesn't seem like a very good option anyway since replacing the motor could get fairly expensive/time consuming.

Well, Out of the two, go for the ford. Because getting a new engine for the toyota will probs cost more than the car itself

i thought older cars would be better but my everyday car ( 1976 nova) is starting to be a pain to start... i would go with a newer car.
