Static IP

i wanna make a private server but ip always changes or something and whenever i try to port foward and type my ip address into the address bar it always says connection timed out too busy or something can some1 help? and ideas?

 

well your computers assigning you a temporary ip address (dynamic IP). I would call up the router or ISP company and see if you can get a static IP.


I saw your orb thing you think you could make me one with a computer in it or somethin?

they give you software, that.....when your ip changes, itll update to the site

they will give u something, for example, mine is

kaijou.no-ip.com

that would be used as my ip
and the software on no ip will update kaijou.no-ip.com,to your ip address 24/7

that and its a hassle to have everyone download the client just to play 1 game.....
