What to do when you accidently level defense

So I had a 40 def pure that was pretty much maxed. Had all the goodies such as turmoil and vengence, but I brought by war tortoise to DKS and then remembered it attacked and trained def xp so my defense now leveled to 41, some may think this doesn't matter but i almost think it is ruined. Should i train def to 42 for a void pure? 45 for a zerk? or even 75+ to just make it a main now?

 

Either keep 41 or go Zerk, I'd say Zerk man

I'd train it to 42 just for pking with void. Why train it to 45? The only thing that will benefit you is the Strenght bonus of the berserker helmet, something not worth the 3 extra Defence levels imo.

 

I say just keep it you have put work into it already...

 

If it is only one level, explain what happened to Jagex and ask for a level removal (Normally only works for -1 defence unless you're a pure). Since you're already +35 defence they should remove it back to 40.

 

Jagex doesn't grant exp rollbacks as far as I know. The only way you can get rolled back purposefully, is to be caught botting. But even then that is dependent upon Jagex's discretion and the severity of your botting offense.

To the OP: Usually when you accidentally level defence, you smack your face on the desk and have a little temper tantrum momentarily. Then I guess the next step is to decide whether you can live with it, or whether you want to train your character up to the next level of pure.

Personally, I wouldn't bother ruining a good pure over a defence level or 2. It doesn't affect you THAT much.

 

I thought there was a thread dedicated to requesting a defence removal? I could be wrong, i haven't browsed the forums in quite some time. I thought there was a sticky on RS forums in either Account Help, General or... I can't look at the moment, work computer doesn't allow Java.

 

Nah, there isn't such a thing. If there was, there would be a lot less of people rage quitting haha.

Realistically though, 1 level doesn't effect your combat level. Even if it does bother you significantly, you can go 42 for the damage bonus of void or 45 for the extra strength bonus.

 

Just quest to level 42 if you are bothered by it, which you shouldn't be.

 

I'd go with the smack your head on the desk and live with it.

 

Make it a Zerker, or just stay with 41 tbh. It's only 1 level, lol.

 

aslong as you haven't gone up a cmb level i'd stay how you are but moving on to a zerk might keep you from getting bored anyhow?
