Grabbing certain XML and placing on HTML

    Hi all,

I have designed a website interface (for mobile devices). But I am unsure on how I would get content to display in an HTML page from an XML document.

It needs to be linked somehow to the URL. For example information.html?placeid=22

It would then find the place with placeid = 22 in the XML and print the fields inside that onto the HTML webpage.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

    Thanks.

PHP and an XML parser. You could do it with JavaScript as well.

If you only know HTML, it's not going to be something you can easily do.

Yeah, I only really know HTML..

Can you give me a run-down of what would happen for clarity? Then I can work on trying to produce something
