Password Scam Ban?

Ok so recently my account has been banned for password scamming, Rule #3.

Funny thing is I didnt!

No one knows my password, and the evidence said:

"We regret to inform you that this account was banned as it broke Rule 3 - Password Scamming - and gained items through hijacking an account.

Our detection systems show this account trading with at least one account that was hijacked at the time of the trade.

We do not discuss our detection processes.

Our records show you were in complete control of your account at the time of the incident."


I didn't hijack an account. I thought maybe they IPed my computer and then banned me, but its the computer in my room i play on and i never hacked an account from it. And i never hacked an account. How can this be?

 

Lots of accounts get banned for that for no reason.
The ban might be because you either multi logged from an account or had a friend to do a trade for you (altho unlikely)...
This may also be due to the fact that jagex monitors this site (sythe.org) and sees people doing trades and those who have pictures of accounts posted around as "for sale" might get banned,but this is just my theory.

 

Im new to sythe starting today so i doubt the sythe theory. Thanks though.

 

If you traded with a hacked or "hijacked" account and received or exchanged things with them, you will be banned regardless if you knew it was hacked or not. It's also the same as sometimes if you buy logs or fish off an autoer, you'll get banned for real life trading because they think, somehow you're suppose to know it's an autoer and not trade him.

Their system can be compared to a block of cheese, although I'd rather have a piece of cheese decide the future of my account rather than Jagex's poorly trained staff and there even poorer so called "detection systems".

 

Wow, JAGeX is bogus. I accidentally could have perhaps traded with an autoer but i don't think i have. I find it dumb as hell that you can get banned for something like that.

Yeah, I've had this happen to friends before.

What I think happens is, you trade someone (just randomly buying or selling something.)

And right after the trade, they get hacked, and tell Jagex.

Jagex looks back and sees that you traded with them about the time of the hack.

And they nail you for it.

That's my theory, but I may be wrong.

It's pretty unfair.

I remember when Juansito was selling dupe'd mills. I must of got atleast 20+ people banned then, Lol. I traded alot of very rich merchanters with the millions I bought. ;o

Did they at least give you a chance to appeal?

 

Yes, i explained what happened and they just denied it. both my appeal and my last chance appeal. To test if the appeals are automated, I made a lvl 3 account and got banned and the for the appeal i said "You are all gay" and it was successfull...

Lol jagex are full of twats now they are banning people for stupid things and stuff which didnt evan happen when they got fuckin chinease kids autoin for 8 years non stop lol

 

jagex ban many for no reasons.. thats how the game is...

 

Yeah, I know they suck dude, they are ruining the game and allowing autoers.

 

Lost my acc with 1300M+ to that offense. Jagex really does blow. They can't control the size of the game they've created.

Although they don't provide evidence when they give you that offense it means one of a few things.
1) You did indeed scam/hack an account.
2) You traded a quite big trade with an autoer, they deemed it real world trading.
3) You made an unfair trade that their trade monitoring system caught and they assume you are transferring from another account.

 

So dumb man im pissed
