Gj so far man. How tall are you btw?

Also update on the IF-- I've gone from 6'3'' 205 to 190 for my cut. No noticeable muscle loss, made some strength gains and maintained all of my lifts, and I can't recall feeling hungry once. Really happy with the results, It's not for everyone but I feel great.

Thanks man, I've been going at it! You can make plenty of gains with your schedule my man. You just need to start doing full body 3 times a week. I'd even recommend starting 1 day on with 2 days rest between. Make sure you hit your proteins and you'll be seeing the same gains I made. It's 100% worth it. Also if you sign up to a gym, I recommend 24Hr Fitness :^) PM me if you have any questions my man.

IF is a fad, calories in/calories out is a science and there's no going around that. The only diet that's actually respectable in how it changes your body is the Keto diet. It's really not even a debate, but congrats on your cut!

    Thanks boss :)

Did you actually read the article lol.

Also protein is either used as energy or used as amino acids, not both. If you're consuming the correct amount of protein, it'll be used as amino acids unless you do not have enough caloeies, then it would be converted to energy.

Protein can be used as energy if your body does not receive enough calories.

Fats are used for energy as well. Feel free to read up on this and let me know if you find anything you didn't already know ^_^

The muscle protein builds is literally a source of energy dumbass. Protein is caloric.

Yes. Protein is used as energy if the body is deficient in calories. AMINO ACIDS, which make up PROTEIN, can be converted to GLUCOSE, by ENZYMES in your body. Take a biochem class you fucking idiot. Otherwise it is stored as muscle which is easily converted into ENERGY to be used later. Similar to fat, but less efficient. Why is this difficult to understand?

    edit: good vibes

The human body can do three things with protein calories; put protein in fat stores, use it as an energy source or use it to carry out functions vital to life. Protein calories will be used as an energy source when the body is lacking fat or carbohydrate calories for fuel. When the body receives sufficient quantities of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, protein will carry out its specific functions. These proteins functions include: replacement of old cells, building muscles, organs, blood, nails, hair, skin, and tissues. Protein also takes part in hormone, antibodies, and enzyme formation.

A diet that is low in essential amino acids does not carry out all of its protein functions. Protein follows the all-or-none law: inadequate amounts of essential amino acids cause the body to excrete proteins in urine as urea. The remainder of the protein is converted to glucose, fat, or metabolized for energy. This lack of essential amino acids prevents proteins from performing their normal functions.

If you're eating right, protein is not even close to being touched as an energy source. Fuck your biochem class you degenerate fuck, that's like comparing nutrition to exercise nutrition. good vibes

Fats are a source of energy, not only carbs.
