Sythe - The connection was reset

Can some1 tell me why i keep getting "The Connection was reset" when using sythe at home? I dont think i'd be IP banned coz they would first ban my account...

PS: every other site works at home besides sythe...

 

Is the internet connected?
If so. Clear your cookies and cache.
"Cltr UP(Or shift) Delete).

 

I get this sometimes, during some of Sythe's lag outbreaks. I would assume it is simply related to that, as typically sythe is the only site that doesnt work for me.

 

yeah but it works w/ proxy, anyway, clearing cache and cookies might have done it

 

sythe is a huge and laggy forum<---soz but its got too much members lol. everytime i load it i get that about 2-3 times before getting onto site. Just try again and again or wait 5 mins and try again.

 

If you're never able to use Sythe form your home without proxy, your IP has most likely been blocked by the firewall.
Use a proxy, and go to http://sythe.org/ip.php and type in your IP. Find your IP here if you're unsure what it is.
Give it a while, and you'll get unblocked.

It's not a proxy that's needed; or anything for that matter. You just need to wait it out because Sythe won't work sometimes because of the bandwidth. It's not unusual for Sythe to give you an error when trying to get onto the site.

1. It would be may 5th.
2. Myself and the other members were letting you know that if your connection is reset or something along those lines it's usually because Sythe's capacity is being exceeded and sometimes the server closes and people get blocked out. The best medicine is to wait it out.
