    Should i consider starting again?

    Hello Sythe :)
It's been quite awhile since i played WoW, (at the end of Wotlk).
I would really love to start again, but i've never been the kind of guy who starts from scratch after a break.
So i wondered, how hard will it be to catch up with all the changes since i stopped playing. Is the game that much different?

    Any inputs are highly appriciated!

I know it's asking for much, but i just don't know where to look for advices :)
Is it "all the same" in the way of playing? Or did anything change majorly?
I know some of the reduction of the talents tree, but that's about it :/

Questing is much more linear and less "here's 10 different quests in different areas", rather "here's 10 quests, most in the same area" so 1-60 is very fast (you can get to 60 in under a day played time). Bc and wrath content are still the same, however 71-80 experience required has been heavily reduced (30% or more). They want more people to get to end game, so they've made leveling a lot easier and faster now for people to catch up.

Besides that, new talent trees, class changes (check 4.3 notes for most recent changes) and raid finder (great if you don't have a guild, very fast queues, get geared quickly this way).

    Good luck restarting :)

Thanks alot for the swift responds mate :)
But i were more thinking, if i were used to playing 25m heroics in wotlk and i went ahead and brought an account.
Would it be hard for a complete cata rookie like me to catch up? I do not itend to play hardcore again, i just want a great account and help people out. It may sound weird, but that's the kind of playing i've started to enjoy the most :)

Your best bet would to be start again, don't buy an account as the game is much more immersive and entertaining while leveling + it helps you get used to the new changes since WOTLK.

The only problem I see with the game at this point is all chances of competitive arena has been thrown out the window.

Cata was, for most hardcore raiders, a huge disappointment. The fact of the matter is it was interesting the first time coming up to 85, and some of the instance fights were fun, but after 250 runs through the SAME heroics, you get worn out. WoW is more about farming in this expansion than lore or anything else. I've been out for a few months and do not intend to return until a month or so prior to the MoP release.
