Hi! A few days from now I'm about to go in my first ever trip to Fight Caves to meet with Jad.

My stats will be:

1. 75 ranged.
2. 75 defence.
3. 50 prayer.
4. 78 HP

Setup:

1. Blowpipe
2. Ancient d'hide
   
3. Ancient chaps
   
4. Snakeskin boots
5. Amulet of Fury
6. Barrows gloves
7. Ava's accumulator
8. Unholy blessing
9. Archer helm

Would like to know some answers to a few questions before I jump in the cave -

1. Should I get Ancient d'hide boots or snake skin will do just fine?
2. How much ammo will my blowpipe need and witch dats should I use?
3. Do I need to bring a diffrient weapon for the boss fight (ex. crossbow) or will blowpipe do just fine?
4. How many times did you fail before getting the fire cape?

I've already watched some youtube guides and will do the cave with notepad on the second monitor to know witch monsters come in witch wave.

Any info you wished you knew before fighting jad for the first time will be appriciated greatly.

Just got the cape on my second try. A mod can close this thread.

 

Had worse stats but Jad took me 4 times LOL grats

Nice! I did 4 runs to get the pet lol. And doing it mobile sucksss

 

Snakeskin boots will be just fine.
Get more ammo than you need - if you die, you won't lose it and can sell it back later.
Blowpipe will do just fine for the boss.
