Photoshop CS5

I was looking at the trial for Photoshop CS5 Extended. What do you think of it http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop&promoid=IINLN. I was just going to do some random stuff on it to see if I like it. Thanks

 

Go for it, you don't have anything to lose. It is the standard for web graphics design

Get it from the Adobe website, you'll need to create an account but that's about it.

I'm not sure about that, but adobe illustrator is another program separate to photoshop. It's another one worth learning if you're interested in making logos and general artworks.

EDIT: I've downloaded it and everything, but I can't find the actual programme, and if I go on the Adobe Download Assistant it says it's downloading?

 

Yeah adobe has its own client to download the actual programs. When you downloaded photoshop from the website, it downloaded a client to actually download the program. If that makes any sense. It should be on your desktop or possibly in your program files, once the adobe downloader has finished getting all the photoshop files.

most of the times I get a virus

 

Which is why if you're going (are silly enough to) use torrents you read the comments/virusscan or use a VM.
