Ive tried to recover my account.

I havent used sythe in a while and am trying to swap gp from 07 to rs3. I cannot login and I tried to reset my password through my e-mail which was a success until it said 2 step authentication was on my account. I don't recall ever adding this but if I did I dont even know if it's an app or a text to my phone like e-mails have or what. Please help me reset password. It also says my username is in use??? but I'm not online? check Ip's it could be from my phone but I did close out the pages so it shouldn't be.
