Overclocking not working.

I got a P5P43TD/USB3 motherboard.

I used to be able to overclock, and then I forgot what I did and then it stopped letting me overclock. When I try to overclock now, it just turns the PC on and then it doesn't show any picture. Then I have to reset it and then gives me this "Overclocking failed" or something like that. I tried many settings, I set the BIOS settings back to default, tried updating and downgrading the BIOS and I took the battery out and put it back in. Still no luck with that, can anyone help? Thanks.

What are you trying to overclock? CPU? GPU? RAM?
What other hardware do you have?
Need a little more info
I believe that mobo has something called a Turbo Key which is used for a quick overclock, but more info would help still

 

It was my CPU, but I got it figured out on a Overclocking forum. Thanks anyways, appreciate it a lot, Kill Dank.

I personally have an i7 920 @ 3.8 GHz (stock 2.66 GHz)
