Runescape isn't a great PvM game and there are many other superior PvM alternatives with more exciting mechanics. Inherently Jagex believes that PvMers are downvoting their PvP suggestions and their latest idea is to reintroduce Vesta, Statius, Morrigan weapons back into the game. I think they are too blind to see that it isn't PvMers downvoting their suggestions, but their suggestions display a lack of critical thinking and innovation. Personally the allure of Runescape and the wilderness was the unknown. Games become stale when you start to understand and have access to everything. Gold has become cheap and easily obtainable, outside of Zeah (which was probably the best update in a long time) the game and wilderness has not expanded, and a lot of players are bored to the extent that they consider leveling and maxing out stats as the most fun part of the game. There is no reward at the end of the tunnel. Jagex continues to introduce new items drawn on MS Paint that are unneeded and either totally useless or overpowered. The game doesn't need Vesta, Statius, or Corrupt Dragon items, the wilderness needs to be expanded e.g. make it go up higher in levels and stop thinking about new bosses/weapons and focus on cool environment and terrain like castles and so forth.
