Name Changing

I see people sell their names here daily, I'm wondering how they do that. I've recently made my alt mems just to take the name and swap it to my main. After changing the alts name, the name is showing as taken? How in the hell do people sell names with this system? The name is an obscure reference and I doubt it would have gotten sniped.

You have to change names twice for it to become available.

 

That might be the stupidest thing i've ever heard, then again Jagex is retarded and they've proven that time and time again. Now I have to waste another fucking bond jesus christ.

Let's say you want to move Alex from Account 1 to Account 2. You will need to change your name once so it becomes your previous RS name for 35 days and NOONE can take it. You can spend a bond as an extra name change to gain the ability to change your name early. As soon as you change your name a 2nd time, you can instantly take it on your 2nd account.

 

Yep it is so u can take your old name back if you regret the name change.
