Jagex has announced that there wont be rares in OSRS, phats, h masks and easter eggs will all be handed out during different events every year. So no they aren't going to be worth anywhere near what they used to be.

Basically, they are cheap cosmetic items now. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Rares will never be rare, the game will die out before any of these phats worth nothing turn into more then 100k a piece

J mods select certain individuals during the holidays and give them pumpkin spawners h ween mask etc. I ran a few events due to this and dropped rares.

Feels weird seeing everything with them, But yah there not that rare can get a set for 200k.

It's a shame Jagex decided to do that for osrs. I feel like rares were a nice part of the game, a huge goal for people to work towards. They should have polled it tbh
