OSRS Question

So I heard people telling me to get 88 strength from 85 and not to exceed that, I mean.. Why?
Also people are saying 96 str is the same as 99 str? I don't understand that logic?

Also why is 78 attack wanted, I mean why not just 75 for a godsword?

depends what account you're trying to make tbh and you wanna try stay within a reasonable margin for your stats

 

I'm confident that they're speaking in terms of max hits in staking. 96 strength allows you to hit 25 with a whip, and having 99 strength won't increase your max hits. Those 3 extra levels make up 1 combat level, so in a way theres no point going higher.

Ah. Thanks for this but just one more thing, isn't the chances of hitting 11 in a kick with 99 strength higher than the chances with 96 strength?

 

The chance is the same if you have 99 attack.

 

Accuracy is determined by your attack level man

 

To be fair, 99 Strength.. 96 Strength.. even 90 Strength, none of it matters because you still get F*cked in the Ass with PID & RNG

 

tbh just get 96 str cause its literally the same as 99 lmao, it'll just make you more intimidating to other players lol

 

It's worth noting that you can hit a 25 at 96 strength with the aggressive attack style, but you can't hit a 25 with accurate/defensive styles until 97

 

That's because of cb lvls, but I think those stat differences are wrong for max hits.
