DDS and Whip Staker

I plan on making a dds whip staker with:
70 attack
42 def (for zerker staking)
80/85 strength

1.Is 42 defence a viable option with ddsing?
2.Should my defence be higher?
3.Will i be owned by pures?
4.And what should my hp be?

I think you will need 45 def for zerker, correct me if I am wrong.

Defence levels can be pretty beneficial to staking, it just depends on your offensive stats and the stats of your opponent.

My account I am currently training is 60 attack, 54 strength, and 48 defence right now and hp is currently 54. Hopefully that gives you an idea.

 

If you are staking people with 70 attack armour off, 42 def is going to do virtually nothing (maybe an average of 10% overall damage reduction if you are lucky). You need more strength.

 

I have a 70 attack, 30 def, 79 strength staker. I tend to dds zerkers, for the extra def they have, they're 10 attack levels lower and roughly the same strength. It's unpredictable as fuak as sometimes i rip through them, and sometimes they destroy me. It has actually won me a considerable amount, however i don't know when to stop and end up getting cleaned lol.

 

Staking is hard to pick, I've done my fair share of it and ive lost to people that had stat's nothing like mine.

It's all based on luck.

 

42 defence is void, 45 defence is a zerker account. Make sure that you quest it though, don't just train 1-45 defence. If you do when you do the zerker quests you'll end up with like 48 defence!

 

Tbh in staking, your melees don't matter as much as having high hp.
