This band is amazing. Listen to Call Me Sick Boy. These guys take what was started by Haste The Day and From Autumn To Ashes, then run with it in a way that only Attack Attack! can beat (but as the genres are different, I can't adequately compare them). Once you hear these guys, A Skylit Drive sounds like sludge, atleast to me.

This is truly an untilmate blend of soft and hard. Imagine the first Escape the Fate album, but with a distinctly more scenester beat and melody, as compared to EtF's unique emo hardcore sound.

 

I got this band on my computer, they're pretty amazing.

 

Agreed. I think they're the best Hardcore/Post Hardcore band out there.

 

I love the unique sounds that the metal/hard/deathcore scene is starting to produce by melding with other genres.

Brokencyde, Attack Attack!, Hopes Die Last... Escape the Fate was really ahead of their time with that first album.

Even The Devil Wears Prada falls under this.

I can't wait until this band comes out with a full length album.

i have like 80+ bands that are better than ASD(a skylit drive)

they're way over rated in my opinion
even though i did get my 100 dollar bill signed by the singer

I've gotta be honest with you, all these "type" of bands are starting to sound the same. The lead vocalist does have a unique sound, but drowning it out with guitar and screaming just puts it in the same area as everyone else.

I don't find too many scream/ post-scream/ hardcore bands appealing other than Alexisonfire and older My American Heart. Again, props to this guy for the unique voice, but, the screaming is about to get old.

 

I've known about them for a while now.

They are good but unlike the rest of you, i prefer A Skylit Drive more than these guys.

Ouch.

Up-beat pop and screamo should not be mixed. With the young, high-pitched vocalist, they remind me of Good Charlotte - a lost band trying to be hardcore.
