Personally I don't care much about the event. But I do love drama and memes. So I hope its added.

Imagine how bad the event will actually be because of how toxic the community is.

The major argument taking place is that people are claiming they don't believe Jagex should be taking a political stance on something IRL and incorporating it into the game...which while I can understand, who gives a shit really. It doesn't affect how you play the game whatsoever. You're not forced to participate (I'm quite often seeing "stop shoving this stuff down our throats")
All in all I think it's literally just the typical osrs edgelord being their typical toxic selves to get a rise out of people.

Community being little bitches about it, but sadly that is your average Old School player. It is undoubtedly the more toxic game, I've seen it time and time again on various occasions. Just a really annoying community, tbh.

It's an absolute cluster fuck at World 330 Lummy spot, I mean the amount of people who are spending time there is insane.

 

The whole world was a clusterfuck. I was finding swastikas in the most random places on the side of the road, on a random bridge, out in the middle of the forest.

 

Sounds quite gay if i do say so myself.

 

I dislike pointless activism which achieves nothing but conflict. I dislike it even more when it's being promoted by a company.

Wish they'd done it tastefully with a quest with subtle references here and there or something, would've been much nicer.

 

I just don't think Jagex foresaw the shitshow that occurred.

 

Yeah, which is a shame given it doesn't take a genius to realise it's not a good idea.

 

Could have been handled better on all fronts, unfortunately Jagex is starting to make unilateral decisions again and bypassing polls. These idiots better port the HD client over/ greenlight it. I need something to restore my faith in them. This event didn't bother me, but they've been making a lot of decisions on their own lately.

 

...and hopefully Private Servers make a come back

 

Did Jagex shut them down or something? I'm not privy to RSPS happenings, what happened to them? Or is just nobody providing good ones anymore?

 

They just die out, but they spike in popularity every time Jagex shits the bed. Why can't the game just stay the same forever?
