    Is life really life?

    I've never posted in this section before, seems like a good time to start.

    Anyways, do you guys ever see life similar to "The Truman Show"? But you're not actually on television? What I'm trying to say is, that whatever happens in your life is supposed to happen much like fate(exactly like fate as a matter of fact). Everyone in the world, all these 7 billion people are not actually there? Much like a dream, and no one actually exists, all a figment of your imagination. I don't know if this makes sense to people. If you walk across the street and get hit by a car and die, it's supposed to happen. Something like that, I guess you guys kind of understand what I mean now. Also lastly, ever think someone out there just created everything you see right now, just for you, and no one else? Just specifically for you, your lifestyle, and so on. Hopefully you guys follow what I'm saying.

    My understanding of your post is as a manifestation of idealistic philosophical thought, whereby your conception of reality, denoted by yourself as life, is one of skepticism, whereby you express doubt that what we see is in simple and true existence; rather what we see and experience may well be what we have ourselves conjured in the mental realm.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idealism

    The first thing I always ask myself when engaging in such thought is whether it is actually worthwhile. Would the findings of your exploration change anything? Would reaching a philosophical conclusion about the nature of existence change what you experience? If you were to establish that everything around you was in fact a mere figment of your imagination, would you, or would you not, continue to go to school each day and sit in front of the television, partaking in what you have been doing for your hitherto existence?

    I personally take a realist approach to life - I choose to take what I see prima facie; at face value, for I don't think we have the time to waste in life to spend pontificating about whether the world in which we live and the people around us exist in reality. No matter what conclusion we draw, we are overwhelmingly likely to continue living unaffectedly - the debate is not a down-to-earth and practical debate and will have few, if any, implications on the way in which we live.

    I feel like is normal for people to question reality and existence.
    But this.

    There are so many possibilities to was existence really is. The fact of the matter is that there is only so much time left in whatever is right now and it shouldn't be wasted inconsequential thoughts.

    You're basically questioning why are we here, no one really knows..

    I have thought of it but the evidence/my opinion points me towards the opposite non-egotistical view of life.

    I have the same thoughts on what if people are just your imagination somewhat hard to explain through words but like your the only person but everyones evolved around you and they are not actually real. {Wierd to explain but this has definatley passed through my mind more than once}

    I heard there's actually proof now that god rose from the dead. Like they used mathematics and shit.

    I always think of a million things that can happen when we die. It all ties back to where we came from. Whoever sent us here in the first place is where we'll end up when we die, well that's what I believe.

    I just think it's impossible to ever wrap your mind around the whole thing. Sometimes, I just look at my computer and think, What the fuuuck??

    I can't be sure of everyone else in this world. For the only way i know of their existence is through senses, though my senses have lied to me before with illusions and artificial means hence i can question my reality. However because I think i can be sure that i exist.

    Hence why its called idealism...read other posts before posting -video:mad:

    Op: Not sure if you can relate to this but do you often just think about this like in school or somewhere? I mean I do and I just often wonder who are we why are we here etc.. sometimes when I'm just alone I just look around and wonder and try to picture myself as a non-biased person (just a free thing looking at myself aswell as others.. if that makes sense)

    I use to think that life was just a huge inception.
