Open a tf2 trading section

There really isn't much currently activity for these sales, but HUGE potential lies in this idea. Currently there is on website out there for tf2 trades, and they get tons and tons of activity. The thing is, they only support item to item trading.
We need to open a section for item for irl cash/etc. trading.
There really isn't a good site out there for trading tf2 items, and if you google "trade tf2 items" you'll see that we could easily be the top result with a minorly active section, which would fuel more activity in the process.
It's a snatch on a market that isn't currently there. I'm sure there will be plenty of interest.
Thoughts?

100% support. I look everywhere to buy Tf2 items for cash but there really seems to be no place at all. Would love to see this come to Sythe.

OT: Id support this because tf2 is growing especially since it is now free. I feel like there is a big market for tf2 items.

 

First off, put "Team fortress 2" instead of tf2, because I bet half the people reading this have to google "tf2".

Second, I don't support because I don't see much of a market. And the games getting kinda old...

 

I think it's a good idea but we'd need a base community first, we can't just make it and hope people join to use it.

The TF2 Market is actually fairly massive.

This would be just like Aion. A bunch of kids saying that they love it but when it comes to it, they realize they don't have anything to sell, so there will initially never be a market at all.

Except TF2 isn't a dead game, and like Blade said there is seriously no where else you can sell in game items for money. Now that I think more about this, I support it even more.

Like I said, we'd need a decent base of people (which I bet there will be if an announcement is made - the steam section is big) and it will take off with google searches.

That's right, since it went F2P the game's had a large influx of new players. I'd hardly consider it "dead".

Also, there are some fairly large Team Fortress 2 trading communities, such as Unusual Hat Club Forums and TF2 Trading Post. People often buy and sell TF2 items for cash on the UHCF, myself included.

What I'm getting at is, the majority of people interested in exchanging their TF2 stuff for cash will head to one of those two major websites.

 

I don't think we'd be able to compete with SOP/UHC or other sites which have TF2 as their main focus due to the fact this is a RS forum and I doubt enough of our userbase plays the game to warrant a section based on trading. Then again, it is free now so things could change.

 

Well the game just became free so I don't think that many people will want to pay for items, there are a lot of forum sections already, we don't need more.
