jagex advertises for other games taking their customers? since when?

 

Well lol, i'm pretty sure when i used to play there were only ads on the top of the page, but now that they grew alot i think they wanted to bring in more money so they added more ads. .. the question is how much do you think they pay runescape to have those ads on thier site. I bet it's so much.

To be honest, I dont think they'd lose too many players. Anyone who plays WoW has heard of RuneScape, anyone who plays RuneScape has heard of WoW. I'm pretty sure anyone who plays ANY MMORPG has heard of both of them..

It's just advertisements. They get paid. Obviously they don't care for is advertised.

 

Are you fucking serious? It's an ad company putting up high paying ads in highly populated areas.

 

I doubt Runescape will lose a lot of players just because of that ad. How many people actually look at those advertisements on top? How many players actually click on the link on top? Jagex are also smart and its a win-win situation.

 

it is unlikely any1 will lose players. like someone said before... anyone who plays runescape has already known of WoW.

 

I lol'd, wtf , they don't always monitor their ads I guess .. seeing how theres a 'report ad' button haha.

 

pretty sure rs wouldn't screen the adds it put on its site, they change often and would be out of there control
