Death, Morbid Angel, or Children of Bodom?

Well you guys, these are three of my absolute favourite bands. Out of them, which are your favourites?

 

Children of Bodom. Never really listened to Death or Morbid Angel.

 

Morbid Angel.

 

It's a hard choice between Death and Morbid Angel. Overall i'd say Morbid Angel, but Death made 2 or 3 incredible albums, so i'll go with them.

 

Children of Bodom is much better, never heard of Death of Morbid before =/

Ya, it is VERY close between Death and Morbid Angel for a favourite band Morbid Angel is fucking awesome, but I agree with you when you say Death released some grand albums. I really liked Human.

All the people saying CoB on this thread and Metallica on the other remind me as to why I always think that Sythe is one of the worst musically-informed places on the internet.

 

I dislike morbid angel, death I think is great and if it were any other band they were against other than cob i'd go with them but beings it is cob thats who i picked.

why come in complaining if someone likes melo death rather then something else, to me screaming where you need to really listen to understand the lyrics isn't worth listening to unless they have good guitarists etc. to make up for it. As for metallica I'm guessing your just jealous because your fav band hasn't been going for 20+ years made 20 some albums and still going.

 

First off, you have just lost your rights to ever give anyone musical advice or opinion ever again.

CoB is not melodeath. They're speed/power fusion with harsh vocals. They're pretty fuckin far off melodeath, actually. Adding to that, Morbid angel and Death literally PIONEERED the death metal genre. Without them, you would be listening to near none of the music you do today (this is assuming you listen to any form of death metal, btw). Going further, it's pretty much a proven fact that Death and Morbid Angel's solo's and riff's are some of the best out there. Also, if you can't understand Morbid Angel or Death's vocals, you honestly need to kill yourself immediately.

Secondly, my favorite band is Pink Floyd. I'd be willing to place a bet their most famous album (The Wall) has sold more records alone than Metallica's entire discography combined.

Thirdly, Metallica only has 8 albums. Pink Floyd has 14 albums. From Pink Floyd's first album to their last, they've had 27 years of activity. From Metallica's first to last, they've had 20 years of activity. So, who has more music? Pink floyd. More recognition? Pink Floyd. More activity? Pink Floyd. More album sales? Pink Floyd. Sorry, but I think that's one of the first time's i've ever seen myself completely shoot down EVERY single point made in someone's post on this forum.

Next time you try to argue with me kid, please have at least a miniscule amount of knowledge on the subject you're attempting to talk about.

So far, all you've done is embarrass yourself and successfully prove my point.

For me it would have to be Children Of Bodom, Death are a fucking awesome band but I have always loved Children Of Bodom, Children Of Decadence was the first song I heard of them, and coincidently, the first non-rap song. I have never listened to that horrible form of language (I do not classify rap as a genre, rather a mind pollutant). Pluuuuuuus I am seeing Children Of Bodom in June
