Is IT True?

Is It true that if your a 6 year veteran to runescape like me theres a lower chance of getting banned or reset? I'v botted 99 mining, 99 fishing, 99 magic not 1 problem but do you guys know if it's true?

 

From what I've heard they look at reports on old accounts less heavily then new accounts. You can still be banned though obv.

Ive botted 24/7 to lvl 120 for 2 months on my previously lvl 85 main which was 6 years old ... Not even a single ban/mute or any punishment on my acc yet lol....

 

I have had this theory for awhile. I believe it to be true because I have used some pretty bad bots in the past and ran them for weeks straight often getting caught in random events. I believe that because my account was made on 05 and there was no botting activity until this past year I was overlooked. If it was a newer account I have no doubt it would be banned.

 

I think you still should be safe though, because just because your acc is over 5 years old doesnt mean its not voulnerable to reports etc xd but in dung i suppose thats no problem xD

I've botted on a account that was created in 2002. I've maxed all 99 melee stats with it in RSC and no ban has been issued yet. I've botted 99 strength, mining, and 70 attack with it in RS2, and no ban yet.

They value there old players enough to not issue such as harsh punishments is what i've been led to believe.

 

You can still be banned but its not common as new accounts..

 

They barley catch any bots I have a f2p bot I made a few weeks ago and botted it for over 200 hours at a time no ban at all, they can't detect bots at all is what it seems

 

If you have an old account and you have paid for membership many times i think it helps them turn a blind eye to you botting

 

It must be, I have been botting on my main which was made in 05. Botted 99 fletching and 99 cooking. I also use to ran sorcgarden on it but stopped when it started getting popular.

 

As stated many times before, You are never safe when botting

 

I don't believe this at all. My main is only a few months old, I am at a 2051 total level, and I bot 24/7. I even have a rwt minor ban lol.

 

They probably think that within those years you worked hard to build the account..

 

True, but from what many believe, bans are based on reports. The reports when getting looked over show recent history around the report, such as clicks, time played ect.

 

no this is not true, i made my account in 04, botted sw for 1 week with a bought bot, and got perm banned instantly..no chance

 

Yeah but dung bot is pretty much flawless and unbannable, did it really only take 2 months?

 

well guys, i support this theory. my main was made in 02 believe it or not and I've made accounts in 03 05 06 and so on so forth.. which I've botted heavily with failing scripts (before i knew what i was doing) and got no attention.

i wouldn't rely on this however, old or not you should still be cautious about your accounts.

 

banned i was maxed all stats apart from 2 stats

botted 2 fm levels all stats halved by xp

99 magic and 99 mining (until recently) have always had very low ban rates if you're using a decent script.

Anyhow, I'm sure the age of accounts has some influence upon whether you're banned or not. Honestly, I've always felt the skills being botted are a major deciding factor. Any account gold farming is typically going to banned no question; meanwhile, skills that don't produce tons of money (excluding agility) usually end up either not being caught or a 14 day ban w/ a reset

 

I think it's just a money factor. Older accounts have paid for, possibly, years of memberships and will continue to do so. A F2P bot doesn't do anything for JaGex so it's an autoban.

For example, currently anyone who has paid for at least one month of membs only get a 14 day ban and a rollback, while a F2P bot get an automatic permanent ban. Think this follows the same rules as with age. You pay, you get a break. Unless you absolutely abuse it...
