Hey guys, I'm looking to sell my ********** account and because i'm based in the UK playerauctions isn't supported in my country yet so players will be reluctant to buy off me without the trust that playerauctions can offer... I've been browsing sites and reviews for an hour or so now for a website like gold4rs.com (Gutted it got shut down), to sell my account to like I have done in the past, all the websites I've found, rs2happy being the main one with a Hell of a lot of bad reviews don't seem to be that trustworthy. I can't seem to find anything about rs3pal and was wondering if anyone has used this site recently or do you know any other websites that are trustworthy?

 

Not used them, or indeed heard of them to be honest.

Are you sure PA doesn't work in the UK?

 

I am positive, I tried to sign up for it earlier and it said UK isn't supported but they are looking to expand in the future.. but who knows how long that will be lol

Not off the top of my head - have you tried selling on Sythe yet?

 

I've not tried on sythe yet because when I have been browsing through other people that have been selling accounts on here the buyers want to use playerauctions for safety, which unfortunately I can't so I'd probably be wasting my time :/

 

Not ususally, most sellers just use a MM to conduct the trade, the is a greater amount of private sales with an MM than PA on Sythe I would say.

Middleman. *trusted* members of the Sythe community who will moderate the trade. Check out the Middleman forum

 

I tried buying an account off them. They said they wanted a call verification but I never received a call.
When I asked for a refund, I did receive my money back.

So I guess they're kinda legit.

I wouldn't sell your account to any of those gold sites. I sold one to rs3pal for $300, waited 2 weeks, and then they told me that they had paypal issues - which continued for two weeks. I can show you chat logs if you're interested in seeing them scam in action :\.

 

i wouldn't generalize every gold site and claim that they are all untrustworthy. it could have easily been a misconception, usually its the customer support on these sites that sucks.

 

Just saying, PlayerAuctions works in the UK definitely because me and multiple other UK users have PA accounts. I wouldn't personally sell to one of these sites.

 

Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. I'm in the UK and have (and use) a PA account. If you're having problems, contact their live support or something like that and query it.

 

Most of them are run by the same people. Obviously the 'gold4rs' and 'usfine' companies are different but a lot of them are all just different sites + domain but run by the same people.

Also, many many people have reported that they've been scammed my gold sites.
