A sub section for Xbox / PlayStation Sales

Need some place general to talk about Xbox/Playsation

As you can't really discuss your thoughts on games, etc in a sale section.

I realize there's gaming general for this but I thought one for just Xbox/playsation would be better.

It's also very hard to obtain the xbox mini rank without making sales.

 

Gaming general suits this just fine.
If there's a huge amount of threads a subsection could be in order, but that's not the case at this time.

 

What about the case of obtaining an Xbox mini rank?

It would be impossible for those not making sales, but just wanting to talk about Xbox related stuff

 

I would say just stick to Gaming General. While I can definitely see why it would be nice to have a section for two bigger consoles, I do not think it would be filled with nearly enough activity to justify an entire sub-section.

Regarding the mini-rank, just design a Gaming General minirank (perhaps the Xbox logo)

 

Yeah there arent many threads regarding xbox and playstation, so gaming general would fit it perfectly for the time being. I guess if there were more threads sythe staff would eventually create an entirely new subsection..however, seeing that this forum is mainly runescape based, I dont see that happening anytime soon.

 

The Gaming General section isn't that active that it would need a different sub section for consoles but if it was a more used section this would make more sense to have.

 

I agree you should be able to get the xbox rank and not have to post in the market. But if the activity doesn't support it we can't just make 2 new subsections for a rank.

 

I don't see the need for it, yet.

PS4 and XB1 are fairly new so not much content out for it. Might be needed once more comes out.

 

No it's not. You can trade it, buy it, or just make helpful posts in that section without making a purchase/sale if you really want it that badly.
