Saturday december 17th:
bought the game 10 minutes before closing; the blonde bitch did not give me a serial

Sunday december 18th:
Returned to the store and got a new serial after arguing with the store owner
Installed Origin/Punkbuster 20 minutes
Installed the game : 1 hour
Installed game update : 40 minutes
Got an error message; had to reinstall everything : 2 hours
Got the exact same error, looked it up and needed IE9/Vista SP2 : 2 hours

Monday December 19th
Updated Videocard driver : 30 minutes
Tried to get in the game, error, had to restart computer and install a couple of Windows updates : 1 hour
Still not working, downloading and installing more Windows updates : 20 minutes
No connection to the internet, fixing internet : 1 hour
Decided to install yet more Windows updates, updater got stuck and turned it off after a while. : 1 hour 30 minutes
got into the game, 12 FPS and sound is echoing when it is not supposed to.

First and last time I buy a fucking game.

 

Origin is wank.

 

I still don't have it working.

Does someone know how I can fix the sound 'echoing' ?

 

Why not just buy it online? I myself haven't had any tech problems with it.

 

Vista + Origin = FAIL.

 

Can we have your main specs please? Would help out alot.

It's a sexy game if you can get it to work even if it's flowing on 30 fps.

Yeah that is odd. You can max WAW but not BF3??? Very strange indeed, it clearly has to be the game as that laptop can max Crysis.

No but serious that is a shit laptop, you need a good PC to run BF3.

 

I figured, I can max WaW...... I'll play BF3 at al ower quality.

 

Na, I thought this too and ended up getting 5 FPS per second on my older PC. You could always sell it if you don't fancy getting a massive gaming PC.

 

The serial has already been used and is linked to my, otherwise empty, Origin account.

 

Then sell your Origin?
