    Onboard sound problem.

Basically my onboard sound is completely fucked from my knowledge.
It's hard for me to explain but the sound is screwed, it's all disorted or something like half the time it sounds roboty kinda? if Anyone gets what I mean explain it better? :p

Both my speakers and headset work fine on other PC's. I cannot figure out what's wrong.
Driver reinstall is offlimits because I'm downloading at 10kb/s(and the driver is 80mbs)

Seriously so fucked off from this so can someone see if they know what's wrong?

Was working fine last night then I turned my PC off.

So all you did was turn your computer off and turn it back on and it started sounding like crap? Only thing I can think of is checking settings to make sure nothing crazy changed. Then go to device manager and check to see if it says your audio is working properly. And possibly even rollback. Or just disable/enable. Uninstall and restart and see if windows reinstalls it for you. Since it is onboard its part of the motherboard so should be installed automatically. When I format my computers I never install audio drivers because Windows automatically does it.

I changed NOTHING, all I did was turn my PC off, then turn it on the next morning.
    Tried disabling/re-enabling and nothing.
As for downloading again it's not an option, my nets fucked up aswell and has been disconnecting & running extremely slow so I can't download anything.

    Cheers tho.

Well like I said... I have never installed a driver for onboard sound before. So if you don't care you could uninstall it then restart your computer and Windows should install the driver when it starts back up.

It'd still have to download it to install it, which like I said would take forever.

    Thanks for trying though.

    Hm, I don't know then.
    And no I don't.

    I fixed it atm.
Under sound devices in speakers options I had to disable all sound effects.

Hopefully it's not a temp fix.

Cheers for trying to help man!
