What do you guys think about buying gold?

I haven't really bought gold besides 5m here and there but recently after starting up a couple of accounts my main has ran out of gold. Tempted to buy $50 worth of gold but I feel kind of like it's a waste.

Do you buy gold for your accounts? What do you think of it?

 

I dont buy gold, but I do keep most of the gold I get from doing services to train my accounts.

 

If your really broke and cba making money with 0 funds u might aswell spend a little on gear for example for zulrah and then rebuild from there to pay for expenses

 

It's a time saver which is extremely valuable to me.

 

If you can afford to buy it then do it. Just don't spend it on RS if you need cash IRL. Anyway buying GP is really great if you need it to PvM/Stake. You can always go onto to all it back if you don't need it!

 

If you can afford it, why not? You will probably spend it on something else. Could be a PlayStation game/add on, ciggerettes, night out with the lads, a takeout, the possibilities are endless, so why not rsgp if you enjoy playing the game.

 

If you enjoy playing rs you might as well buy some. Many people on video games spend 60 dollars and go on to buy like 50 dollars worth of weapon camo/map packs/bonus content etc... if you enjoy the game you play, it's worth it because it makes it that much more enjoyable. Just don't spend money if you can't afford it, but even 1 hour of a jobs salary at 8/hr can pay for more gold than most would earn playing the game for 8 hours. So it's definitely a time saver and can make playing even more fun.

 

Like others said it's like an add-on to a game and will help you unlock other content faster, but i think it'll give a bigger sense of achievement if you found a way that you enjoyed to make gold yourself.

you need money to make money. Basic Economics 101

 

Say you make minimum wage 7.50 an hour at your place of work

That's making 7.5m an hour in RS for that time spent at work.

Where as when you're playing RS you can make around 2m an hour at best

So it's definitely worth it to buy gold if you can afford it as it's saving you time you'd be wasting obtaining the gold the right way.
