Why is every kid one runescape a liar?

LOL. Some kid asked me where I was employed and I told him PetSmart as I am going to college and only can manage a part time retail job. He then tells me I am a failure because I work at petsmart and I go to a community college instead of a prestigious school in my area. Then he tells me the minimum wage in New York is $9.50 (when it is $7.25 across all of the U.S. (Not to mention, I live in New York as well, so his lie kind of failed hard) and that his dad makes $130k a year and he makes $100k a year at 22 years old.

What is the point of nerds lying over runescape? I feel like anytime you talk to someone on Runescape, they feel the need to try to 1 up you when in fact it just proves they're a little shit. I'm legit about to stop playing Runescape and start back on WoW again just because I have never ran in to a non-mature WoW player.

Sorry for the rant, just wanted to hear if you guy's experience the same bullshit when you play.

The kids in WoW are INSUFFERABLE. Especially the ones in dungeons that will kick you out for no reason and waste your valuable time.

There are immature kids on every single video game.

He wants to feel better about himself. AE His dad probably abuses him and is a drunk, he makes minimum wage doing something worse than petsmart ( I would rather work at petsmart than Mcdonalds, not saying that there is anything wrong with petsmart), and he needs to feel like he has some self esteem. Pity him and move on, and keep being honest like you are.

 

People lie, it's human nature. There will be tons of trolls on any game you play.
