Tried to recover my account but WTF?

It's a long story so I'm going to keep things simple and straight to the point.

I have this main for a long time already, had my own email attached to it.

One day, I got keylogged, this hacker got almost everything.

I switched to a new computer, recovered it, changed new email. Successful.

It got hacked again. This time, my new computer is clean and I'm determined to get it back once and for all...

I went to "Recover now", typed in my new email, the one I had switched to, it was successful as it said that I should receive an email soon.

I waited for 24 hours, no email came, sent in a few more recovery attempts. No email still.

WTF is going on? Can anyone please help me? Is it because I have switched to a new email it's not coming to me? I checked my original email that was attached before and still no mail... The hacker is on my account now.. he's enjoying maxed stats... I want it back... please can anyone explain what is going on? Perhaps you might have a similar experience you would like to share...

 

Get them to resend it. I usually get email in my junk/spam folder

 

check spam / try a diff email.

 

Checked a lot of times, there was nothing.

How can I try a different email anyways? You know how the recovery system works. You have two tries to get the email attached correct. Obvious it was my email, so I know how. But if you try a different email, it will say try again. I did try it with the old email that was attached before and it said it was invalid (obviously, since I changed it to my new one after I was keylogged)

 

Just skip getting the email and recover it manually? Put in [email protected] for the email twice and it'll just tell you to put your information in

 

I had the same problem, turns out my email provider (G-Mail) was sending them straight to my Spam/Junk folder, check there

 

This has been happening a lot for me too.

Sometimes jagex's Email servers go down for a day or two.

I remember a while ago they went down for like 4 days.

Just try like every hour or so, i'm sure it'll turn up.

 

It is possible they also hacked your account and added Jagex to the "blacklist" section. Check your email settings and look for a "block from all senders" section in the options, and make sure Jagex isn't listed there.

 

You should check your spam.

1) Black-listed
2) E-mail forwarding
3) Skip it and recover it without it. you don't NEED it to recover, if you got the first password... 90% I'd say it wll be successful.

 

Thanks guys, but I'm pretty sure there was no way I'm blacklisted, since I created a new mail account when I changed it.

And thanks guys, I actually got the email this morning, so yeah I was able to recover it very successfully, had only about 40m left on it though :/

There's a way to change the mail from a set one, i thought the hacker did so.
