    Anti Depressants?

I'm not thinking of taking them myself, it's for my aunt( no seriously ).

Anyone here used them, if so how'd it go? Any feedback is appreciated.Thanks.

    Anti Depressants?

I haven't taken them personally, but someone in my direct family has.

They work most of the time for most people, and they certainly work more often than they don't.

Has she been prescribed them by a doctor who has seen her before?

    No -
She hasn't, my mother ( her sister / pharmacist ) recommends she does.. after seeing her state.

    Thanks for the feedback.

In that case, you should encourage her to see a doctor. There are different types of antidepressants, different dosages and so on. While your mum may be a pharmacist she hasn't been trained the same way a doctor has.

    Anti Depressants?

I take the lowest dose of sertraline, which is a generic form of zoloft. They work and I've had no problems with them so far. I'm only taking them for mild depression, but if she has severe depression then she should take them.
