All I have to say is to try to use different effects such as c4ds, or brushes. Beginners work, although the animating would rape my animating .

 

The animating in the second picture is just Video to gif. And yes i know these are simple thats because im simple and not a GFX king. Lol, Currently working on a Xbox 360 sig. Message me if you would like one.

 

Hmm Ok, WELL. This Failed alot. Didnt turn out like i wanted it too. But im gonna use it anyway for now. Until i can find where i went wrong.

 

Firstly, many of your tags and pieces have none of some fundemental elements to art - flow/depth being an example.

Where you do attempt it, it's slightly wrong, for example in this;



The light is coming from in front (on the left) and above him, which you can tell from his shadows. That means you should try create a false light source coming in from where the light would come, creating a microreality in your signature, imitating the real lightsource.

Secondly, depth means there should generally (not always), be three areas or subsections in your depth of field. Usually these are created by pretending that you have a very high aperture, and the foreground and background are blurry and out of focus, and the middleground (the subsection where generally the focal point tends to be) is sharp and crisp.

An example of a sig that strongly portrays this is this:


Finally, placement and composition, mean that you (as i said earlier) in trying to establish a microreality, try to integrate everything, to have relevance to everything else, and be a part of the sig. By this, i mean that text should NOT be just placed on top and shadowed, to stand out, it should have relevance to the signature, in style, size, or maybe even colour, which is why opacity/layer style changed text is so hated.

Try to either create depth in the text itself, or to have it in a foreground or background state, and learn to make it effective with the signature, either through correct colouring, or clipping.
