Banned for Vouching Ban Evader

Alright so here's my dispute/explanation.

So on Monday I get a message from Seth, more popularly known as "PLP" or "Snowboard-Ninja". Now as far as I remember he was never banned for scamming, and I personally truly trust him. Well that was before he lied to me about this, but anyway, here's the message he sent me at 2:33 AM.

Later on I go on tinychat to find Tengauge talking about how he's the person I vouched for.



I was going to remove the vouch, but X9 had posted

so I figured it wouldn't be very wise to remove it then as the staff would think I'm trying to hide something.


Anyway, I really don't see what's wrong with vouching someone if you truly trust them, even if they are ban evading, especially if they were really trusted before. However it was stupid on my part and it turns out Seth was either sharing accounts with Tengauge or telling me to vouch for Tengauge's vader. I'm sure others have done similar actions and no punishment was handed out, and I personally think the outcome of my action had a lot to do with who the vader was. I also don't think this is any worse than jokingly vouching for someone when you don't even trust them, which has happened a lot in the spam forum.

I'm not that worried about the punishment and I'd like to show my gratitude for not being permanently banned, but the main reason for this dispute was to explain myself.

Seth has done much worser things than scamming, and the fact that you'd vouch him even though you knew he was a ban evader is disappointing. Everyone who vouched him received the same punishment, which I think is very lenient.
